Ready for What’s Next? Come Expectant to 4D Leadership Conference

When an opportunity like the 4D Leadership Conference arises, we want as many people as possible in the room. Not just because we want a successful event (though that’s always nice), but because we want to help resource our churches, build stronger connections with one another, and develop great leaders across our movement.

This year, we believe it’s going to be one of our best yet. Our theme, Expectant, invites us to come ready to see how God will move, speak, and lead us into the future for our churches and communities.

We’re thrilled to welcome two amazing keynote speakers: John Robertson and Petrea Taylor from Riverlife Baptist Church in Brisbane. They bring fresh ideas, biblical wisdom, and practical encouragement to help us lead with renewed passion and purpose.

John is the CEO of the Global Leadership Network and a former Senior Pastor at Riverlife. With more than 30 years in senior leadership, he’s passionate about combining strategy with developing people and processes. In his elective, John will explore how a leader’s attitude shapes everything they do, and how the right mindset can change how we lead.

Petrea, on the other hand, has a big heart for children and families. She serves with the Riverlife Kids Ministry team, helping raise the next generation of young disciples. Her elective on Intergenerational Discipleship will give you a vision and practical tools to help people grow in faith from childhood through to adulthood.

There’s also plenty more to look forward to on the day. The popular GODx talks are back, featuring local creatives and leaders sharing quick, seven-minute insights on new ideas and topics.

Choosing an elective won’t be easy this year, with eight great options covering things like cultural intelligence, small group Bible reading, global mission and local action, life after Alpha, worship and creative ministry, and church governance and values, in addition to John and Petrea’s electives.

We’ll also gather for the BCSANT Assembly, a time to celebrate what God is doing in our churches, hear stories, make key decisions, and seek God’s guidance for the future. It’s a unique opportunity to come together as one movement, to worship, grow, and discern together.
