Over the past year, BaptistCare has transitioned into a single national care and services organisation, strengthening our commitment to support individuals and communities across Australia.
Baptist Associations and Churches have played a foundational role in the establishment and growth of BaptistCare across Australia.
BaptistCare is deeply grateful for the generations of people who have supported this work through faithful prayer, generous giving, and hands-on service. This support has helped build a legacy of care that continues to impact thousands of lives each day.
Since merging to become a national organisation, we have taken time to reflect on who we are, why we exist and how we show up for the people and communities we serve.
Through conversations with employees, residents, clients and communities across the country, three ideas stood out at the heart of BaptistCare: Christian faith, care and community.
These ideas have shaped BaptistCare’s Vision: Communities where everyone can live to their full potential.
Our Purpose: Inspired by Jesus to champion care for all.
And our I ACT Values: Inclusivity, Accountability, Compassion and Teamwork – that guide how we care, connect and work together each day.
Our new visual identity brings this to life through a flower in bloom with interlinking petals, representing the connections and communities of care at the centre of BaptistCare’s work. Warm, rich colours reinforce a recognisable identity grounded in care and optimism.
At the heart of the new brand is a bespoke tapestry created in collaboration with Australian artist Carla McRae, inspired by the voices of BaptistCare’s people across the country.
Earlier this year, BaptistCare people from across the nation shared their ‘BaptistCare Moments’, stories and images capturing what community of care means in everyday life, which Carla reimagined into a single, cohesive artwork.
Each element represents a person, a moment or a place, and together they form a powerful expression of connection, belonging and shared purpose.
As BaptistCare moves forward as one national organisation, we do so standing on the strong foundation laid by Baptist communities and we remain deeply grateful for your ongoing partnership, support and faith in our shared purpose.
Together, we will continue to champion care for all, inspired by the actions of Jesus, who showed us how important it is to be welcoming of all people, from all walks of life.
