Assemblies

Twice per year, delegates from across our churches gather to discuss what God is doing among us, make decisions that affect the whole movement, celebrate Jesus, and worship together.

A delegate is a person entrusted and appointed by their local church to vote in our Assembly gatherings on behalf of their church

We encourage all delegates to come to Assemblies prepared, prayerful, and expectant as together we seek to discern Jesus’ leading for our movement

Why do we need delegates?
Each church is entitled to between 2 and 6 votes depending on the size of its membership – delegates are how these votes are cast and counted.

Who can be a delegate?
Anyone who is a member of good standing in a BCSANT Member church can be appointed or approved by the church to be their delegate

How do I become a delegate?
Ask your church leadership who their current delegates are and if there are any vacancies offer to be one!

  • Member Churches (represented by Delegates)
  • Accredited pastors who are serving directly within BCSANT
  • Officers of the Association
  • Members of the Assembly Board

Anyone is welcome (and encouraged) to attend an Assembly but only members of Assembly can vote.
