We have noticed some rapid changes in Australian culture and community, as well as a growing complexity in leading local churches well.

Research shows there’s a decline in religious affiliation, a substantial shift in local demographics, and yet, spiritual hunger is rising.

What will your local community context look like in 2035?

What capabilities do we need to faithfully lead and impact the missional landscape in 2035?

What will a bold, Spirit-led church look like in 2035?

We believe that developing Cultural and Contextual Intelligence (CQ) is essential. It equips us to wisely engage with:

  • Ethnic diversity — understanding and honouring the cultures in and around our churches
  • Generational differences — with eight generations currently alive, how do we lead across eras and expectations?
  • Church culture — every church has a unique flavour, shaped by history, values, and ministry rhythms

CQ invites us to listen deeply, lead wisely, and embody the gospel in a way that speaks meaningfully to those around us.
