I am a qualified professional supervisor with the Australian Association of Supervision. I have extensive personal experience in local church ministry, health care and military chaplaincy. I seek to provide a safe place for you to reflect on who you are in your ministry and explore possibilities going forward. I am also qualified to provide supervision to professionals in other disciplines.

I’m available and delighted to offer professional pastoral supervision, face-to-face or online. My background and experience as a Baptist pastor are 20 years of local church ministry, and then 16 years working for the denomination in pastoral, teaching and formation roles with pastors of all ages and diverse contexts. In parallel with this is 18 years’ experience of offering spiritual direction after my initial formation in this particular ministry, and ~14 years, teaching and forming others for spiritual direction.

My desire is to provide a safe place for people to bring their real experience of ministry, for encouragement and support, for reflection and learning, for healthy accountability, for discovery and development of themselves. This supervisory experience over time, in God’s grace, will impact the people to whom you minister so that they will be well led, and will receive further nourishment and inspiration in their own lives.

Biography

Bill is a Pastoral Coach with the Baptist Union of Victoria, helping develop emerging leaders and encouraging and supporting the pastors especially of the larger churches. In addition he is also Pastor Emeritus of the Syndal Baptist Church with whom he served as Senior Pastor for almost 33 years and Associate Pastor for almost 10 years. Bill has completed a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision and seeks to enable pastors reflect on their ministry practice in a way that is life-giving and helpful.

I come to Pastoral Supervision with over a decade of pastoral ministry experience in country NSW and Tasmania. I hold an MDiv from SMBC and an MA(Theol) from Moore Theological College. I’ve lived with the complexities of ministry in both church and school contexts and understand how core convictions can easily be crowded out by busyness, admin, and relational pressures.
I’ve personally found Pastoral Supervision to be transformational: offering clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose. As a supervisor, I hope to help pastors and educators align their gospel convictions with their practice, and to serve with integrity and focus, to the glory of God.

I’m passionate about the difference that Supervision makes in others’ ministries as they feel seen, heard & accompanied in their roles. I have been in ministry for over 20 years and worked in youth ministry, with university students, developing and training church leaders (in Australia and internationally). I’ve also served as Chaplain and Head of Department (Christian Studies) for an Anglican Girls’ School in Sydney, and provided mentoring and pastoral care to Bible College students training for vocational ministry.

Danny is a qualified Professional Supervisor passionate about working with individuals, and small groups to help them find, make, and take up roles within their work and organisational settings. Danny holds over 30 years of pastoral ministry experience, is an experienced chaplain and celebrant, and brings his background as a musician to supervision by encouraging supervisees to draw on their own creative expressions to facilitate enquiry at their own pace. Danny has experience working with small group development, grief, loss & life transitions, leading & managing change, and fostering innovation in leaders. Danny is also a Consultant Practitioner with the University of Divinity Graduate Supervision Program and is the director of, The Creative Awareness Nexus, where he has gained extensive experience in the online supervision space with both groups and individuals.

I am married with two young adult children. I began my professional life as a Civil Engineer and have 30+ years pastoral experience as an Accredited Pastor, in senior associate and lead pastor roles, together with leadership roles within the Baptist movement in SA.

My focus is one of creating a safe and supportive relationship that enables a person to reflect, share, discern and grow. Paying attention to their practices and wellbeing so they can be their best self for the sake of those they serve.

Pastoral Supervision enhances wellbeing in ministry – lay or ordained, with consequent enrichment of ministry outcomes. Good supervision is not about judgment, or assessing competence. It provides the supervisee with confidential opportunities to safely and effectively reflect on all aspects of their ministry, including their pastoral relationships. Each supervisory relationship is unique and evolves over time, accommodating the supervisee’s individual needs and circumstances.

My focus is the well-being of each person with whom I work, so that their clients also flourish. I offer face-to-face and video conference sessions, and am trained in one-on-one as well as group supervision.

Dianne is an experienced Counsellor, Mentor and Professional Supervisor, and a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Australian Association of Online Supervisors (AAOS). She brings decades of cross-cultural ministry experience, having served in church planting, leadership, education and community engagement contexts both in Australia and overseas. Her background includes roles in school leadership, consultancy and with Scripture Union, where she has supported school chaplaincy. Dianne integrates reflective practice, pastoral insight and professional standards to create safe, thoughtful spaces where individuals and leaders can grow in clarity, resilience and purposeful service.

Biography

Peter surrendered to Christ in 1982. An Army Engineer for 30 years, he then worked throughout South-East Asia with an Australian University before managing World Vision’s ministries in ACT and southern NSW. He was ordained deacon in 2004, pastored in Parliament House as Chaplain for 12 years and then mentored ordination candidates in the Anglican Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn.

He completed the GCPS (Pastoral) through St Mark’s National Theological Centre in 2021 and now supervises students, clergy and chaplains across denominations, particularly in the ADF and national Police Services. Peter welcomes supervisees for whom English is a second language.

Erin is committed to creating warm and safe environments for deeply reflective conversations. Over two decades, Erin has worked in large, multi-staff organizations and has a unique capacity to understand systems and the people working within those systems. As an Arrow Australia alumni, Erin brings a rich perspective to Professional Supervision drawing from her Master of Leadership.

Erin’s undergraduate studies in Theatre and Theology set the foundation for her curiosity for stories and narrative threads. Erin has the ability to hear and translate nuance in vocal intonation, word selection and the repeated ideas, concepts and images weaved into reflective conversations which help the Supervisee to make illuminating connections. Jennifer has a Doctor of Ministry, Master of Arts (Christian Counselling), Certificate in Individual & Relationship Counselling, Bible College Certificate (Morling College), is a Certified Professional Coach, & has trained in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. She is a Clinical member & Supervisor with PACFA (Psychotherapy & Counselling Fed. of Australia). She is a trained administrator & has been a trainer of the PREPARE-ENRICH material. Naomi comes with over 30 years of experience in transformative leadership of local churches in both Western Australia and Victoria, leading them to greater effectiveness in mission. She has a talent for connecting and developing leaders around a shared vision of healthy mission-focused churches. Naomi’s additional experience in leading retreats, conferences and mission ventures reflects her collaborative kingdom-based approach to mission and ministry.

Naomi’s pastoral experience across a variety of denominations and ministry settings is complimented by formal qualifications in Chaplaincy, Christian Ministry and Professional/Pastoral Supervision. She is currently an ordained Pastor within the Churches of Christ.

Located in Port Adelaide, I provide supervision to people working in ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral and spiritual care positions through my private practice, both online and in person.

My pastoral care experience includes industrial, business, parish, and hospital settings.
I have served on the faculty of Whitley College (University of Divinity) as Director of Supervised Theological Field Education and lecturer in spirituality. Now, as an accredited Clinical Pastoral Educator, I am contracted to conduct Clinical Pastoral Education units across Australia.

I continue to develop my supervisory practice through study and am now a Doctoral Candidate with the University of Divinity (Doctor of Professional Practice), exploring the intersection of vocational identity and ministry practice.
