Walk the World is coming up again on November 7th-9th, 2025. If this is the first time you’re hearing about it, Walk the World is a fun, free prayer initiative encouraging churches, individuals, and fellowship groups of all sorts across all generations to gather creatively to pray for the local community, the nation and the world.
God calls Christians to pray for the needs of people around the world and for the work of God’s mission as He works to restore broken lives and bring his people back into relationship with Him. We can pray for hearts to be opened to hear the loving voice of God in the wilderness, for broken lives to be restored and for the world to long to know the truth of God for themselves. This is also a wonderful community event for churches to share and grow together.
Of course, you don’t have to walk to get involved with Walk the World. You can choose to get around your neighbourhood however you like. You could run, cycle, wheel, skateboard, push, drive, scoot, rollerblade or skip around your area. You could even virtually walk around via Google maps, video, or your imagination! You could even stay put and pray around a meal or a map of the world. There are as many ways to pray as there are people in the church so why not put your heads together and come up with some creative ways to spend time praying together for God to bless your community, the nation, and the world.
