Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre is a safe place where people from all walks of life are welcome.
Our mission is to ensure no one feels forgotten, and express God’s love for all.
Baptist Care SA staff and volunteers work together to provide those of our community who are experiencing homelessness, loneliness and social isolation with a safe space and essentials such as meals, shower and laundry facilities, and overnight accommodation during extreme weather events.
This winter, we’re continuing to provide WestCare Winter Packs to warm our community’s hearts.
Each community member who visits us to warm up under a hot shower is be given essential personal items– and we need your help to provide them.
We kindly request your generous donations of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoos, conditioners and combs. We would also appreciate your hand knitted beanies and scarves.
Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated and put to good use. Donations can be dropped off at Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
