The City of Mitcham, in partnership with solar provider ShineHub, is pleased to invite your church to take part in our Commercial Solar Bulk Buy program, designed to help Baptist Churches across South Australia access affordable solar and battery systems.
While this program is supported by the City of Mitcham, it is open to churches in all council areas, so your congregation can benefit regardless of location.
Why now is the perfect time to consider solar and batteries:
- Cut electricity bills: Lock in long-term energy savings with high-quality solar and battery systems.
- Access government rebates & grants:
- Federal Battery Rebate 2025 – Up to 30% off batteries.
- MAC REPS VPP Rebate – Up to $1,750 extra for joining a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
- Powering Business Grant – Covers up to 50% of project costs.
- Free tailored assessment: ShineHub will provide a customised energy assessment for your church, helping you understand potential savings and system options.
- Proven & Trustworthy: The City of Mitcham and ShineHub have already installed over 1,000 solar and battery systems on local homes, giving churches confidence in the program’s reliability and community track record. The City of Mitcham will work with you throughout the process, assisting to ensure a smooth process.
By joining the program, your church can not only reduce ongoing energy costs but also play an important role in supporting cleaner, more sustainable energy use across our communities.
