Each year, Baptist Insurance Services (BIS) obtain the services of a third party valuation company, Marsh, to provide updated valuations on any buildings owned by your church. We then provide this information to our Broker to ensure that you are adequately protected in the event that your building/s suffer a total loss.
Between now and 30 April, some of you will be contacted directly by Marsh to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit your property. We manage valuations on a rotating cycle, so only about a quarter of our properties will need an inspection this year.
As you can imagine, this is a huge logistical undertaking for Marsh. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in working with Marsh as soon as you are contacted, so they can schedule onsite visits in the required timeframe.
