While most of the churches eligible for the AED Grant have completed the process, there are still a number of churches out there that are yet to purchase the AED.
To those churches, you have until the end of August 2025 to purchase an AED and until the end of September 2025 to claim the Grant funds from BCSANT.
After this time, no Grant funds will be available through BCSANT as we will have returned unused funds to the provider.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All churches with their own building (places of worship) are required to have an AED installed and registered by 31 December 2025. Failure to do so by this time may result in a fine of up to $10,000 under the Automated External Defibrillators (Public Access) Act.
