PC035 – Principles of Leadership & Management
The ‘Principles of Leadership and Management’ semi-intensive offers a profound exploration of how to lead with purpose, vision, and grace in the context of Biblical theology.
Join us on a quest to understand what it truly means to be a spiritual leader and catalyst for positive change.
Teaching will be led by Craig Corkill over four days in March, with Melinda Cousins, Mike & Michelle Stevens, and Tony Ling covering an additional two days in June.
This is an accredited unit of the Australian University of Theology, delivered by Morling College*.

Craig is married to Carolyn and they have three adult children. Craig has served for 29 year years as a Baptist pastor in a range of roles including: youth pastor, church planter, Senior Pastor and sending Pastor for two church plants. In addition, he also served in the Australian Army as a Chaplain. He currently teaches at Morling in the area of Christian Leadership & Management.

Prerequisites apply for those wishing to audit or study PC035 – Principles of Leadership and Management for academic credit. This includes completion of 96 credit points, with at least 36 credit points at AQF Level 6.

Looking to study for academic credit?
Single Unit for Credit
Tuition Fee – $2808
Complete the unit and receive a standalone Certificate. This is recognised for a credit transfer into an eligible AUT qualification.

Join us for a day of professional development, exploring Christian leadership and management with Morling College lecturer, Craig Corkill. You’ll come away feeling equipped with the insight and practical tools needed to foster healthy, transformative communities.
Throughout the day, you will be taught through the Change Management and Integrity & Power modules.
More about Change Management
The Change Management module explores how leadership, grounded in biblical principles and contextual awareness, can guide churches through meaningful transformation. This module provides a practical framework for change management with the opportunity to engage in a ministry simulation which provides participants with the opportunity to put learning into practice.
More about Integrity & Power
The Integrity & Power module challenges leaders to steward authority with humility and accountability, highlighting the dangers of power imbalances and the necessity of safe, transparent practices to prevent misconduct and nurture trust. In addition this module explores the on-going development of integrity within the life of the leader. This module also engages in a ministry simulation which provides participants with the opportunity to put learning into practice.
