Sunday 20 August 2023 will mark 110 years since the doors were opened to the West End Baptist Mission.
Located in one of the poorest areas of Adelaide, it provided a safe place for people living on the street.
Today, that site is known as Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre and it is where we still provide a safe place for people experiencing homelessness. But Baptist Care SA is now much more than just the WestCare Centre.
Over the past century, Baptist Care SA has extended its services in response to the ever-changing needs of our community and now provides a wide range of support to our community, regardless of their circumstances.
August is Baptist Care SA Month. Baptist Care SA has created a video explaining our mission, in which CEO, Shane Austin, invites us to celebrate all that God has done.
